Growing up in MTL’s queer rave scene, Pollysporyn feels at home on the dance floor. Now based in HFX as a member of Nectar Collective, they love a hot pop sample over a fluid techno beat, genre-hopping with the goal of breaking a sweat & achieving queer sonic ecstasy.
Ani7a: Anita is a Kjipuktuk/Halifax based interdisciplinary artist whose work spans music production, DJing, and digital media art. Under the stage name AN17A, she creates layered soundscapes by weaving together ambient and experimental electronic tracks with live violin and keyboard. Playing with glitch, improvisation, and distortion, she journeys between the ethereal and the mundane.
Mettle w/ SWEE
mettle is the solo project of kamilah apong, a vocalist and artist shaped by the underground house scene. her tracks have drawn remied and chart support from Jazzanova, Osunlade, Mathew Herbert, and Ian Pooley with features on BBC and CBC and live sets at MUTEK and Electric Island. her music is where she practices justice, care, and collective learning, treating sound as embodied and political work.
