EVERYSEEKER is a celebratory experimental music and arts festival interested in the weirdos, freaks, and tricksters, the prolific, legendary, and revolutionary, the imaginative, interdisciplinary, and introspective.
As Spotify wraps up 2022, we are looking for fellow ‘Adventurers’ - seekers of sound, venturers into the unknown, explorers of hidden gems - to be on our Programming Committee. Our Programming Committee is involved in the curatorial process of EVERYSEEKER 2023 happening on June 15th-18th.
DETAILS:
Three 1 hour virtual meetings in January-March
$200 honorarium + free membership for the year
One term commitment, option to return for a second term
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review artist submissions and make recommendations
Offer critical perspectives and advisement on ongoing festival curation and programming
Collaboratively write a statement on the experience, intention, and influence of the programming committee for the festival guide
We encourage applicants to self-identify through the Google Form as we will be prioritzing artists, ES members, arts organizers, and lovers of music who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color/racialized people), 2SLGBTQIA+, and/or Disabled to continue to elevate underrepresented experiences and voices within the music industry.
Deadline to apply is Friday January 6th. Applications will be reviewed by the EVERYSEEKER Board of Directors alongside Co-Directors Nik and Carmel. Everyone will receive a response by January 12th.
