SALTLAMP

SALT LAMP is Katie Wayne (she/her) and Jaime Burnet (she/her), two long-time DIY Halifax musicians crafting songs of queer and trans joy and fury as celebration, incantation, and armour. With backgrounds in pop, folk, punk, and electronic music, SALT LAMP has created a compelling and mercurial sound, sometimes a soft sigh, sometimes a chest-thumping triumph, sometimes an ethereal spell, yet always anchored by their warm and heartfelt voices. Their forthcoming debut album, I Dreamed You Loaned Me Your Telekinetic Powers, is a journal of the sweetness, anxiety, beauty and ferocity of queer love in a dangerous time.
